Dr. Jessica DeBruler
Dr. Jessica DeBruler Yarbrough was born and raised in Downers Grove, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois for her undergraduate degree as well as her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from veterinary school she moved to Ocala, Florida and completed a rigorous equine internship at Peterson and Smith Equine Hospital. Dr. DeBruler decided to stay in warm and sunny Florida, and joined Blue Skies Equine in July 2014.
Dr. DeBruler has attended Options for Animals Chiropractic College and in addition to graduating from their program passed the certification exam for the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. She also has studied veterinary acupuncture and earned a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist certification endorsed by the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. In addition to chiropractic and acupuncture, her professional interests include ophthalmology, dentistry, neonatology, and preventative medicine.
Horses have been a lifelong passion, and Dr. DeBruler enjoys spending free time with her three horses. She loves to compete in the jumper ring, dabbles in dressage, and also enjoys trail riding. Her other favorite activities include having adventures with friends and family, reading, traveling, and most especially she loves spending time with her husband and their two dogs and three cats.
